most probably chem and bio engineers were smart enough to jump out of engineering and ended up as bankers or smth..

so says the undergrad who finds programming fun.

but seriously i think engineering's the most contradictory faculty. More than half of us take an engineering degree -knowing- for sure we are definitely not going to do engineering anyway.

which makes studying for it even more tedious.. as you're reading, you think: "i won't even be needing this crap i'm studying next time.."

which makes getting a degree this way pretty dumb imo.. what ever happened to the old way of apprenticeship where you decide to learn what you want, and start doing what you need to learn for a living..

but then again, what am I doing here in engine.. *sigh* i don't even like maths

somebody might ask..there are mech engineers,electrical engineers and civil engineers..how come there is no sight of chem engineers?

chem engineers have no life...nothing but mugging..

First we cannot take BTC to lecture anymore...

BTC shuttle bus service will be amended to a one-directional route at
prevailing bus schedule with effect from Monday, 11 December 2006.

Then they take away our bus stop and move it further down!!!!!

To facilitate the redevelopment of Car Park 12 @ Hon Sui Sen Memorial Library in 2007, existing unsheltered bus stop (No. 01 along Business Link) will be removed with effect from Monday, 11 December 2006. Existing bus services will be relocated to the nearest bus stop under BIZ 2 building.

!!!!! is it a blessing that I'm going exchange? =D or maybe after they redevelop the carpark there will be a sheltered bus stop? =X either way it sucks that there's no more BTC to go to lessons. Left with good old bus D only >.<

okay. i got a little bored studying. anywayyyy. because of the icecream party last nightt, after watching homealone.. i found myself googling old goodtimes movies like homealone and this, my all time favourite: mighty ducks. :)

i'm not sure how many of u actually watched it, but i watched all 3 movies on LaserDisc. haaha. how old school. :)

but this trilogy really made up my childhood dreams/fantasies about disney and that fantastic world out there. :)

I totally do not regret coming back early from mugging in the library today! Take 5 hours off my study schedule to enjoy icecream with the girls and watch my favourite childhood movie! I didn't even know that the Home Alone vcd was specially rented for this event!!!

Everyone is studying, maybe we should start studying and mug hard, so that we can survive this semester, and perpetuate ourselves into this cyclic shit again next sem, and sem, and sem… and so on. Until u graduate and work, then find a gf/bf. Get married. Raise some kids. Feed them, and make it grow, so they can enter school, and throw their kids into this shit again. Anyway just like what RaChheeeaalllL said, it is a home away from home. I spend more time in this place than my real home. I mean, I must say that this place has grown that much more special over the past few weeks, over the past few months. I mug, I play, I eat, I sleep all in the same place. Besides that it is a place where I have made some goot friends, and for that, I am just glad i am here!

I went to SHlib to look for edward to get stuff from him just now. I walked alternative routes each time - was walking up and down along the corridors and lifts of Blk A and Blk C, and yet, it was only when I entered the Blk B lift and pressed on "5" that I would suddenly feel at 'home', comfortable and familiar.

I guess this is why they say it's the home away from home. :)

i know its exam time and we're all busy mugging and everything.

oh well, just wanna let u all know that there's been a case of theft in blk A. Level 2... That's as close as it gets for us. especially those on the common corridoor. i.e Level 4.

therefore, pls ensure that if you have expensive stuff in ur room, and u're gonna leave it for a long time, lock it!! on the other hand, tat's another reason why we should all OPEN our doors!! so we can watch out for each other!!!

ahhhhh... wat a dilemma... haha.. anyway, watever u choose to do, pls be extra careful these few weeks as that's when the desperados strike. you don't want your notes / laptop stolen during the exam period. that sucks!
